Match Made in Mayhem: A Grit & Grace Mystery, Book One

partnership doomed from the start.

Murder, mayhem, and two local detectives with no clue how to survive their new partnership.

Detective Luke Barritt has a grin for every occasion and a talent for driving his new partner, Dakota Littlebear, absolutely nuts. She’s a five-foot-two force of nature with no patience for nonsense—especially not from a cocky six-foot-four smart-mouth who treats danger like it’s part of his skincare routine.

Their first case together in Shallows Creek is anything but routine.

Three young women are found executed with cold, professional precision. The investigation is grim, urgent, and soon downright explosive for their small police department. With bodies dropping, a killer closing in, and professional boundaries starting to fracture, this mismatched duo has to rely on each other whether they like it or not.

The danger is real. The stakes are rising. And in Shallows Creek, nothing is predictable except mayhem.

Murder is bad. Killing your partner? Debatable.
